Edible Decorations

Fondant

I make my own fondant out of marshmallows and powdered sugar  Most of my decorations are fondant on top of a butter cream cake.  If you would like your entire cake to be covered in fondant, to give it that flawless look, please request that on the order form under special requests.

Toppers

If a 3-D topper is requested, I often use rice crispy treats and/or modeling chocolate.  However, sometimes they get too heavy for the cake and I may have to use  a non edible object, such as styrofoam.   I do cover it in fondant before putting it on the cake.  I will let you know of any non edible object on your cake at delivery.

Isomalt Crystals

I use these for glass like decorations.  It is edible, and can add a very unique element to your cake.

Edible Images

I do use an edible image printer with vanilla sugar paper to print specific images or characters.  I attach the images to a piece of my fondant before placing them on the cake.

Rice Paper or Wafer Paper

I use rice paper for things like ocean waves, or to add interesting elements to the cake.  I love that I can make them in any color, size, and in any design.  I use these often for fun decorations.

I sometimes use wafer paper for items such as flowers or abstract decorations.

Candy Melts

I use these for tasty little treats on the cake, or to cover fresh strawberries.  I also use them for chocolate drips.
